Flutamide Side Effects

In clinical studies, up to 61 percent of people experienced hot flashes as a side effect of flutamide. Other possible reactions include gastrointestinal problems, drowsiness, and a discoloration of the urine. If you experience pain in the upper-right part of the stomach, persistent diarrhea, extreme fatigue, or anything else that just "does not seem right," contact your healthcare provider right away.

An Introduction to Flutamide Side Effects

Just like any medicine, flutamide (Eulexin®) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who takes the medication will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in many cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.
(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with flutamide. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list with you.)
