Zoladex 10.8 Mg
When using Zoladex® (goserelin acetate implant), your dose will depend mainly on the condition being treated. This drug is approved to treat advanced prostate cancer, advanced breast cancer, and certain other gynecological problems. However, only the 10.8-mg Zoladex implant is used to treat advanced prostate cancer (the 3.6-mg strength is used to treat various conditions).
These prescription implants are inserted just under the skin of the abdomen (stomach). After it is inserted, this implant gradually dissolves, continually releasing a fixed amount of medication. The 10.8-mg implant will dissolve in 12 weeks, while the 3.6-mg implant dissolves in 4 weeks.
