Could Zoladex Shots Cause Anemia?

Before starting treatment with Zoladex® (goserelin acetate implant), it is important to know that this medicine could cause certain negative reactions. Some side effects are potentially serious and should be reported to your healthcare provider right away. For instance, Zoladex shots could cause anemia. Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you notice signs of anemia, such as:
 
  • Fatigue or weakness
  • Shortness of breath
  • Pale skin
  • Headaches.
