Trelstar® (triptorelin pamoate) is an injected medication used to treat the symptoms of advanced prostate cancer. Depending on which strength of the drug is used, it is given once every one, three, or six months. Although most men tolerate it well, side effects are possible and may include hot flashes, pain, and erectile dysfunction.
