Most people are familiar with eating the seeds or drinking the juice of pomegranates. However, you can now buy pomegranate extracts and supplements as well. Why are people trying to get extra pomegranate into their diet? Pomegranates supposedly have several medicinal benefits, such as preventing and treating conditions including atherosclerosis, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
