Before beginning treatment with Xtandi, talk to your healthcare provider about all other vitamins, supplements, and medications you are taking. Potentially serious drug interactions may occur when Xtandi is combined with a number of products, such as cyclosporine, fentanyl, or warfarin, just to name a few. Some of these combinations may lead to dangerous side effects or make the medications less effective.

 

An Overview of Interactions With Xtandi

Xtandi® (enzalutamide) can potentially react with a number of other medications, far too many to include in this article. Some of the medicines that may lead to drug interactions with Xtandi include but are not limited to:
         
  • Ergot medications, such as:
    • Bromocriptine (Parlodel®)
    • Dihydroergotamine (Migranal®)
    • Ergonovine
    • Methylergonovine (Methergine®)
    • Pergolide (Permax®)
