Prostate Cancer Home > Vantis

Were you looking for more information about Vantas? Vantis is a common misspelling of Vantas.
Available by prescription only, Vantas® (histrelin implant) is a medication approved for relieving symptoms of advanced prostate cancer in adults. It comes in the form of an implant that is placed under the skin of the upper arm. This implant gradually releases a certain amount of medicine each day for 12 months. Although most people tolerate Vantas well, side effects may occur and can include hot flushes, skin reactions at the implantation site, and fatigue.
