An overdose with this medication is unlikely, as each implant contains a specific amount of medication. However, it is important to seek immediate medical attention if you or someone else may have overdosed on this or any other drug.
If you miss an appointment to receive your Vantas implant, contact your healthcare provider as soon as you remember. He or she will schedule another appointment for you. Try to keep all of your medical appointments. Your symptoms may return if you are more than a few weeks late in receiving your scheduled dose.
How Should This Medication Be Stored?
Vantas should be stored in the refrigerator, away from light. The medication is normally stored by your healthcare provider. Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children and pets.
