Nilandron® (nilutamide) is a medication that is available by prescription only and is approved for treating advanced prostate cancer that has spread to other areas of the body (metastasized). It is used in men who have had surgery to remove their testicles.
 
Before taking the medication, you should talk to your healthcare provider if you have any medical problems, such as liver disease or lung disease. You may also not be able to use this drug if you are taking certain medications, including some nonprescription drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
