Lupron Depot® (leuprolide acetate depot) is a prescription drug that belongs to a class of medications called gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonists. The dose your healthcare provider recommends will vary, depending on factors such as your response to the drug and why you are using it.
For example, dosing options when using Lupron Depot to treat advanced prostate cancer include:
  • Lupron Depot 7.5 mg once monthly
  • Lupron Depot-3 Month 22.5 mg once every three months (every 84 days)
  • Lupron Depot-4 Month 30 mg once every four months (every 16 weeks).
