Because no research has been done on Jevtana (cabazitaxel) and breastfeeding, it is not known whether the medication passes through human breast milk. Due to the potentially serious side effects that could occur in the nursing infant, the manufacturer recommends that women not receive the medication while breastfeeding.
Is Jevtana Safe While Breastfeeding?At this time, it is not known if Jevtana® (cabazitaxel) passes through breast milk in humans. The manufacturer of the drug recommends that women not receive Jevtana while breastfeeding. Therefore, if you are nursing, talk with your healthcare provider before receiving this medication.
Although this medicine is not approved for use in women -- it is only approved for prostate cancer treatment -- it may be used "off-label" to treat other types of cancer in women.

No research has been done to see if Jevtana passes through breast milk in humans. The drug is known to pass through breast milk in rats. Because the potential risks to the nursing infant are unknown, this medication is probably not a good choice for a woman who wants to breastfeed.
