Dosing Information

There is only one standard recommended dose of flutamide. As is always the case, do not adjust your dosage unless your healthcare provider specifically tells you to do so.

What If I Take an Overdose?

As with any medicine, it is possible to take too much flutamide. If you happen to overdose on this medication, seek immediate medical attention.

How Should Flutamide Be Stored?

Flutamide should be stored at room temperature. Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children and pets.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you forget to take a dose of flutamide, skip it and take your next dose at the usual time. Do not take a double dose.
 

Can I Buy Generic Flutamide?

This medication is only available in generic form (see Generic Eulexin for more information).
 

Who Makes This Medication?

Brand-name flutamide, sold under the name Eulexin, used to be manufactured by Schering Corporation. However, Schering no longer makes this drug. Generic versions are made by several different manufacturers.
