Prostate Cancer Home > Flutamide 125 Mg

Once a man's prostate cancer has reached a certain stage, he may be prescribed combination therapy that employs flutamide (Eulexin®). This medicine comes in a capsule that is taken three times a day, with eight hours between doses.

The usual recommended dose is flutamide 250 mg three times a day (two 125-mg capsules three times a day), about eight hours apart. This gives a total daily dose of 750 mg. If you have trouble swallowing the capsules, you can open them and mix the contents with applesauce or pudding.
