What If I Take an Overdose?

As with any medicine, it is possible to take too much Eligard. Seek immediate medical attention if you believe that you or someone else may have overdosed on this or any other drug.
(Click Eligard Overdose for more information.)

What Should I Do If I Forget a Dose?

If you miss your Eligard dose, contact your healthcare provider right away. Your symptoms may return if you forget a dose. Do not take a double dose of this medicine.

How Should Eligard Be Stored?

Eligard should be stored in the refrigerator, between 35.6 and 46.4°F. Allow the medicine to come to room temperature before using. Once mixed, it must be used within 30 minutes. Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children and pets.

Available Strengths

Eligard is available in the following strengths:
  • Eligard 7.5 mg
  • Eligard 22.5 mg
  • Eligard 30 mg
  • Eligard 45 mg.
All strengths come in a single-use kit, with two syringes. The two syringes are mixed just before giving the medicine. As mentioned, Eligard is given as a single injection.

Can I Buy Generic Eligard?

At this time, Eligard is not available in generic form (see Generic Eligard).
