Jevtana Uses

How Does Jevtana Work?

Jevtana belongs to a group of drugs called taxanes. Taxanes stop cancer cells from growing and multiplying by interfering with certain structures in the cell.

Although Jevtana can kill both healthy and cancerous cells, it has a greater effect on cells that are multiplying rapidly. Generally, cancer cells multiply more rapidly than healthy cells and are, therefore, more affected by Jevtana.

Can Children Use It?

Jevtana has not been adequately studied in children or adolescents under the age of 18 years old. It is not known if this medication is safe or effective for children.
