Flutamide (Eulexin®) is a medicine approved for the treatment of prostate cancer. Specifically, it is approved to treat Stage IIB to III (Stages B2 to C) and Stage IV (Stage D2). This medicine is always combined with another product: a gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist. Together, the two drugs affect the production and action of testosterone, which inhibits the growth of cancer cells.
