Flutamide 250 Mg

Flutamide (Eulexin®) is an antiandrogen drug used in the treatment of certain stages of prostate cancer. It is given in combination with another drug called a gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist. The two products are typically started at the same time.

The usual dose for flutamide is 250 mg, taken three times a day, about eight hours apart. You will take two 125-mg capsules three times a day, which gives a total daily dose of 750 mg. If you have trouble swallowing the capsules, you can open them and mix the contents with applesauce, pudding, or something with a similar consistency, which you then must eat right away.
