Eligard Three Month

Men with advanced prostate cancer (cancer that has spread beyond the prostate) may find relief from their symptoms with Eligard® (leuprolide acetate). This drug contains a synthetic form of the naturally occurring gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH). It works by slowing down the growth of cancer cells.
 
You have the following options in how often you can use this drug, which are based primarily on the strength that is used:
 
  • Eligard 7.5 mg every month
  • Eligard 22.5 mg every three months
  • Eligard 30 mg every four months
  • Eligard 45 mg every six months.
