Adverse Effects of Eligard
Although most men have no problems when using Eligard® (leuprolide acetate), adverse effects are possible and may include injection site reactions, hot flashes, and decreased testicle size. Fortunately, such reactions are generally mild and easily treated.
However, potentially serious adverse effects are also possible with Eligard. If you experience sudden, severe headaches, changes in vision, extreme bone pain, or anything that "just does not seem right," contact your healthcare provider right away.
(Click Eligard Side Effects to learn more about adverse reactions to this drug, including how often they occurred in clinical trials. Both common and potentially serious problems with this medication are listed.)
