Casodex 50 Mg
Available in the form of a tablet, Casodex® (bicalutamide) is a type of hormone therapy used to treat advanced cases of prostate cancer. The standard recommended dosage of Casodex is 50 mg once a day, ideally at the same time each day. This medication is given in combination with a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist, sometimes called a luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone agonist, such as:
- Goserelin acetate implant (Zoladex®)
- Histrelin acetate implant (Vantas®)
- Leuprolide acetate (Eligard®, Lupron®, Lupron Depot®)
- Triptorelin (Trelstar®).
